MY STORY
How I started
I remember weekly grocery store trips with my mom and how mesmerized I would be by the bakery. I use to just stand and watch the decorators work as my mom would shop. I always dreamed of being able to create my own edible art.
At the age of 16, I started working at TCBY and learned how to write on the "case cakes" that we sold in the store. Every other week the store decorator would show up and I always tried to soak up any and all techniques and tips that she could show and share with me. I eventually started practicing at home and making cakes for my younger sisters' birthdays. As time went on I ended up taking a position at a local grocery store bakery. I only worked there for a few months but I gained a ton of experience and practice.
I now continue to practice my hobby and love having the opportunity to make yummy art! I'm not a professional but I do offer great tasting and looking cakes for budget concious customers.
